Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) – INSTITUTE FOR BUSSINES EDUCATION (IBE). The mission of IBE is to supply business with high-quality, modern and applicable knowledge enriched with national and international experiences and good business practice examples according to the ‘’practice to practice’’ principle.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – Institute for business education is one of the education and training providers for adults with longest tradition and experience in development, organization and implementation of professional and technical seminars, training courses, workshops, short- and long-term courses and other events for the needs of business subjects Slovenia. Orientation towards actual education, training and competences demands on the labour market enabled us to become one of the largest education and training providers for adults in Slovenia.
Institute has 20 years of experiences as a professional institution for carrying out public and other forms of education and training. Knowledge, years of experiences of our staff and cooperation with domestic and foreign experts enable us to develop and provide high-quality short-time and tailor made education and training programmes.
In year previous years we organized and performed over 500 educational and training events for experts and management with approximately 9000 participants. We have 17 persons full time employed.
Main goals of education and training of management and experts are: higher productivity; increasing of ratio and quality of business practice and higher quality of products and services.
Important part of the institute’s activities is validation and certification of national vocational qualifications. For that purpose Institute established examination centre within its organization structure which is in charge of technical, administrative and professional validation and certification of national vocational qualifications.
The mission of the CPU is to bring the applicable knowledge closer to the companies, SMEs and also large companies and the adult learners with the aim to increase their performance and thus competitiveness.
The quality of the training at the CPU, including key skills training, proven by the diplomas (some of them NVQS), is well recognized across Slovenia as well as in Europe. The key principle of our work is the quality of the training. Therefore we have to be well connected with the employers in defining competence models and training needs. Equally we have to know our learners well. The communication via m technology brings completely new perspective in the communication process, especially considering the number of m phone users.
